ele:REVIEW – Rudi’s Organic Bread

I grew up in Boulder, Colorado, and Rudi’s—named after Swami Rudrananda, a Hindu guru—was our favorite (they sought out third-party organic certification long before yuppies and hippies united to create Whole Foods). Cinnamon Raisin has always been my fave-it’s not breakfast, really, it’s dessert. Rudi’s is still baked in Boulder—it is now part of a big company that’s bought up a number of the best bakeries around the country. While it may no longer be mom n’pop, it still adheres to mission and taste that made me love it so.
