Our hero: Jonny Copp of Adventure Film; Dirt Days

Via on Apr 16, 2008

Jonny Copp, founder of Dirt Days/Adventure Film, is one of my idols. Honestly, he’s such a good guy, doing great things (running up mountains, sliding down/in avalanches, bringing community together through his Film Fest) he actually inspires me to shuddup and open my ears. He’s earning his oxygen, truly, more than most. Check out Alex King’s masterwork–one of the first times we worked together–it’s poetic and, somehow, despite not having typical Alex King rockin’ soundtrack, all the more poetic and beautiful for it. Except for the parts with that talk show guy.

He’s a worldclass adventurer, and a world-class good guy. He’s also a worldclass community builder, through his Adventure Film Festival that ele has been honored to sponsor now and again.
