Didja know that Chuck Taylors, that icon of America and independence, have been bought up by Nike and are made in Asia? Fortunately for punks and hipsters everywhere, there’s a mindful alternative. “Ethletics” are so ethically produced, the Forest Stewardship Council’s logo is stamped on their sustainably-sourced rubber soles.
