You're right on re grass-fed, I recommend it to all my friends. That said, unfortunately, it's an incredibly small percentage of how meat is raised in the US. Hopefully more as folks like you wake up and get educated.

I don't eat eggs anymore. I hardly drink milk. I'm still confused about whether it's better to change the market from horrible and non-free-range, the way they treat cows is pretty bad…and organic and free range is much better, even if far from good. Soy milk is full of its own problems–and now barely any of it is organic.

I really dislike these 'propaganda' articles……it turns a lot of people off elephant.

The fact is, cows that eat their natural food (GRASS) don't have the earth-offensive gas that you speak of. The gas comes from feeding the animals grain, an unnatural food for them.

We don't blame plant eating for "monsanto destroying the planet'……please don't label meat the same way-

I wish you were a crazy vegan! It would add another, more down to earth role model for all the vegetarians out there who think they need a better excuse to become vegan. Dairy and eggs are doing the same environmental and ethical damage that meat does. If you need help let me know.
