John Friend might be Mr. Anusara. But Virayoga’s Elena Brower is my Idol.

Via on Sep 22, 2008

I first saw the below CD while hanging with ol’buddies Josh Onysko and Stephanie Bernstein. I then met her in NYC at her yoga studio in SOHO, and again at Josh’s benefit for Breast Cancer awareness at ABC Home.

Elena’s in Colorado this week for the Anusara gathering with John Friend at Yoga Journal Conference in Estes Park (we hope to make it up after we go to press on our last issue this Saturday)! Check out this video, still one of my top 5 elevision faves by Alex King. Video:

    Waylon Lewis is MY idol!
Sorry to have missed you on this trip, Way,
but we shall meet again soon. The Gathering
started yesterday and it was much more profound
and intimate than anyone expected (with 823 mats in the room- there could’ve been 8- John was outstanding). Sending much LOVE and gratitude for the shout-out. e
