From the Field to the Classroom: Fair Trade Sports!

Scott James is the founder of Fair Trade Sports, one of the coolest mindfulest companies elephant knows.
Now more than ever—with a burgeoning world population, technology and energy needs that may suck our earth dry, it seems imperative that we pass down traditions of respect for the environment and other cultures to our children.

The Internet is a double-edged sword. On one hand, children can be exposed to more mind-opening ideas on sites (like this here elephantjournaldotcom). On the other, children have a good chance at becoming desensitized to the plight of others through the strange isolation and anonymity that hours on the Internet can bring.

Respect is the core of the Fair Trade movement and the effects of its propagation will be felt far and wide for eons. It needs to be taught.
