Our ele friend Mat Barlow snapped some ominous yet gorgeous fire photos last night with his super 300mm lens. So for those of you that were good citizens and DIDN’T go gawk, you can be rewarded with the sight here.

    Oh, and btw so warm today here in Colorado I did yardwork in nothing but shorts and TOMS, and a few flies and bees were buzzing around my house.

    Crazy that I had no idea this was going on. I saw smoke north of Boulder while I was out doing errands, but had no idea the mountains were blazing like this. Have the fires been controlled?
