Just like you said, Arianna Huffington and Discovery Channel… she has a (small) green blog… they have a military channel, next to Planet Green on the cable dial… so if they won't come to the mountain, we have to bring the mountain to them. Takes mobilization, and rock stars! Obama just handed the electric vehicle industry a check for $25 billion, probably the best money Washington has ever spent, because the deck is stacked, the dominos erect, ready to thumble… in the Tesla are the hopes and aspirations of an entire subculture… Once people start to figure out what's really going on here, it's already too late, we're in like Flynn. I know your heart is set on Denver and Boulder, but it's going to be years yet, before the flood waters reach that high!

Waylon, try to come out to GoGreen Expo in New York on April 18-19… LA might still be the world capital of film and TV sitcoms… but New York is still where the big TV networks make everything happen. It's also the capital of fashion, and nothing happens without fashion, not even on television. Talk shows are fueled by the printed press… the guests all have to be written up somewhere first. That's where the green movement fails, we're self satisfied with our small little green bloggosphere… our mainstream green heroes, have no bite, no edge, no cahoonas! They just go along, try not to offend, for fear of not being asked on again. We're big fish in a small sea, we're afraid to venture into larger waters, this resulting from decades of bullying and ridicule. It's not about money, it's about gonads!

Thanks, yeye, sweet of you. Fact is a talk show doesn’t cost much…stars who charge 50,000 per speaking engagement, bands who charge same, will do a set or interview for free–its’ all about press. Make an eco cool stage set, modest salaries to start, production…it costs less than Reality TV, which is cheaply popular ’cause it fills time, gets decent ratings, and cost next to nothing. Talk shows are even cheaper—hell I’ve put one on for 1.5 years with just one events coordinator, a couple sponsors, and next to no budget.

So the question ain’t money—it’s why hasn’t it happened yet?

Well said. Well written. Intentions clear and very well questioned. Why is nobody investing in educating our children, young and eldest with a fun, factual, entertaining positive quantum GREEN TV? It’s hard to believe no visionary has come up with the idea and the money for it. If lack of talent/time/resources is the issue, I advice to watch Waylon Lewis’ Elevision and transfer it mainstreet. Count me in!

this is the mission. the plan is now in place. now it’s just a matter of letting it fly. since no idea is our own, we are just picking up on collective consciousness, i’m sure this thing is on the brink of liftoff. it’s obvious, this is the “next big thing.” and it’s FABULOUS!! can’t wait to see it live and in my face. i’ll be there with bells and with the rest of the upful masses.
and of course many would love to see you do some of that “heavy lifting” mr. lewis. i am one of them!

Thanks, brau. But look, I’m Buddhist, we’re all about not looking outside and relying on the self…thing is I may not be the one to bring such a talk show to life, I’ve been trying but am still learning how to shut up. Graham, Simran, Ben, Olivia, Sara…they’re way more hooked up and full of talent—much easier for them to make something happen, whether they produce or star or what is immaterial—I say A GREEN TALK SHOW that’s fun hip ala Daily Show could educate millions and CAN SAVE THE PLANET!
