WOW, I am surprised to see so many like this beer, Its the worst thing Ive ever tasted! Ive always compared horrible beers to old style but from now on Ill say "This piss taste like mothership", First thing I thought when it hit my tongue was "Did someone pour soap in my beer?". I love Fat Tire and hadn't tried any other NB beers so I bought the Folly Pack, I HATE this Mothership, Skinny Dip is ok and Ill drink it again if offered one but dont see myself running out to get it anytime soon, of course Fat Tire is NB's bread and butter for a reason but the one that surprised me is 1551, Its a thick, dark "black" beer with a chocolaty after taste, like a Leinie fireside nut for those that have had that. So would I take a free beer over a mothership? HELL YES, no matter what the free beer is, even an Old Style.
