Stylish, reusable tote bag can be yours free? Niiiice. Here’s some info we just got via our dear friend Sandja Brugmann:

The TED Conference attracts the world’s most notable presenters and attendees. We’re talking the top echelon of the business world.  Bill Gates and best selling author Elizabeth Gilbert (who penned “Eat Pray Love”) are among the many impressive speakers this year. 

It seems that attendees from the Green Space may have a growing influence there as well.  For the first time in the 25 year conference history, TED will provide environmentally-friendly reusable tote bags in their bookstore (instead of flimsy disposable bags) compliments of branding consultancy Addis Creson.

The bag is made of recyclable, non-toxic, allergy-free polypropylene and designed to last up to two years of weekly usage. It can be machine washed in cold water (line dry). The bags are adorned with a symbol of a cherry tree, symbolizing Addis Creson’s goal of operating in harmony with our planet, and to give and take in equal measure.
