Jon Stewart has another Crossfire moment (see bottom of blog), taking on so-called journalists for ‘hurting America.’ His voice breaking. The funny left on the side. Still, he’s gentlemanly, and fair, and solution-driven. The New York Times’ ALESSANDRA STANLEY blew this one: he’s not (merely) a comedian. He’s a journalist, in the Edward R. Murrow tradition—only wearing a red clown nose. He is, like Oprah, one of the only trusted voices, leaders, in the entire country.
