Attention artsy—fartsy, hipster folks, CU’s ATLAS brings Commuikey Festival Workshops featuring “the artistic interplay of aural and visual technologies.” On Friday, April 17th, as part of a citywide Communikey Festival of Electronic Arts, free workshops and performances will be held that integrate and create immersive audio and video experiences, some of which offer audience interaction. The workshops allow for the audience to check out new softwares, and “provide creative forums for the exploration of electronic music and new media arts.” This three day event—held over Earth Day weekend—includes software workshops, installations, a film screening followed by a panel discussion, and evening showcases.

Lindsey Block loves a good picnic, bottle glass of wine and a new recipe. She likes to do all the cliché things: sing in the shower, dance in her underwear in the living room—which her dog doesn't approve of, yet—and take long walks on the beach. She's currently struggling with misanthropy, but working on it every day—although it's hard living in California.
