We left home this morning,

picked up some snacks from Traders,

and slowly made our way to Squaw Valley,

in our borrowed Chevy Tahoe.

burning fossil fuels as we went along

to the eco-yoga music festival.

Maybe other people arrived here in more earth-friendly ways…

It’s not that trains don’t come out here from the Bay Area

it just would have cost us a couple of hundred dollars,

and we don’t have the cash.

I had gotten a pretty sweet gig writing about the festival for a magazine…

Elephant Journal.

We stopped along the way for lunch…

and found some beautiful things there.

We arrived at Wanderlust to find

that the beautiful people had pulled in just ahead of us.

Really…

At the play lounge, you can play…

…or lounge.

It’s right next to the main entrance, so you don’t have to go far…

before you begin to unwind…

and step into the flow.

Right next to the play lounge is the Sound Spaces booth,

Dance, trance… they’ve got the music in person that you can usually only order online these days…

…a dying breed…

very difficult to leave…

but it was time for us to go set up camp.

We came here to Wanderlust to find people to join us

in making a green revolution in America.
