20 Allen Ginsberg Posters.

Allen Ginsberg was America’s counterculture Poet Laureate, never accepted into the mainstream, yet—for forty years—dominating it. He was a founding member of the Beat Generation, he was unashamedly gay, he was a anti-nuke activist, he was a sweetheart, he was a passionate Buddhist and teacher of poetry at the school he co-founded, the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University.

A few of the below aren’t posters, but are poster-worthy photos. I couldn’t find the great Ginsberg wore Khakis Gap ad with the little photo of Trungpa Rinpoche, his teacher, in the background. Most are crazy psychedelic 60s posters worth framing, a few like the Uncle Sam hat are true iconic posters, and one, the one with Mickey Mouse spouting Howl, has gotta be the coolest image I’ve come upon in a year.
