All of the things we need right now are the things that feel the best.... We just have to listen for them and have the courage to slow down. Cora, you are gracious for communicating these body wisdoms in a kind, legible way.

Good article!

Here's a few more ideas: the color of the kidneys is black, and they have the shape of beans. That's why black beans are a favorite food to boost the Kidney ch'i during this time of year. Black skinned chicken is good too, if you can find it. (Hint: think Asian markets.)

Herbally speaking, there are formulas designed to strengthen the Kidneys too. In particular there is:
1. Liu Wei Di Huang Wan (Six Flavored Rehmannia Pills) for those who are thin.
2. Jin Gui Shen Qi Wan (Golden Cabinet Kidney Ch'i Pill) for those who are wide.
3. Zuo Gui Yin (Restore the Left Decoction) for those who are thin, who also want some libido enhancement.
4. You Gui Yin (Restore the Right Decoction) for those who are wide, who also want some libido enhancement.

Happy solstice to all, and to all, a good night. :)
