Now we’ve heard of everything: Denver Man Bleeds on iPad

Via Sarah Stern of NewEraNews.org

Apple’s new iPad has only been out for a few weeks and already people are losing body parts to get their hands on one.

The iPad, (also known as the largest iPhone ever invented) was at the center of an argument that led to a finger being severed at Cherry Creek Mall in Denver.  The victim, Bill Jordan was attacked by two thieves after purchasing the device.

The Huffington Post reports:

After purchasing the iPad, Jordan was followed down a winding staircase on the way to his car. He was met at the bottom of the staircase by two thieves who began pulling Jordan’s shopping bag from his hand.

The problem: the cords from the bag were wrapped tightly around Jordan’s left little finger. The thieves pulled so hard that they tore off Jordan’s skin and tendons. A doctor later recommended amputation.

Looks like he won’t be using the touch screen technology anytime soon.

The culprits are still on the run since stealing the iPad.  No word yet on whether they got away with the finger.
