Featuring:

Göran Gennvi – C.E.O. of Sweden’s Nature Academy Learning Lab; chief planning consultant to The Tallberg Forum; designed Rework the World Summit for emergent leaders with the YES organization. For 30 years Göran has provided sustainability leadership for European thought leaders as a strategic management consultant focusing on the inner condition of executives inspiring and cultivating lasting change.  In short, a major force in the environmental movement in Europe and the world.

John P. Milton – Founder, The Way of Nature & Sacred Passage; Chairman, Threshold, Inc. International Center for Environmental Renewal.  For more than 5 decades, John has established himself as one of the true leaders of the world-wide Environmental movement, as a Professional Ecologist, Author, Professor, Wilderness Guide, Awareness Trainer and Shaman.  John is keynoting the first European Bioneers Conference this autumn in Findhorn, Scotland.

This program goes beyond the standard sustainability forum in three key ways:

1) Awakening global leaders and institutions to present-centered-awareness – Göran & John guide top executives & leaders to new levels of understanding: seeing how ecological imperatives and principles of sustainability must inform business leaders, community innovators and heads of major global institutions.  Clarity arises from pristine awareness in the moment.

2) Lessons in practical applications – Come learn what Scandinavian Institutions are implementing as a result of Göran’s guidance of the Tallberg Forum (an independent international network of several thousand decision makers with world class convening power) and the Rework The World International Symposia.  Together, John and Göran have taught many world leaders, including: *Kofi Anan, former Secretary General of the UN; *Peter Senge, MIT Professor & author of The Fifth Discipline;  *Angela Cropper, UN Assistant Secretary-General; *James Hansen of NASA; *Bill McKibben, founder of 350.org & author of Deep Economy, and Eaarth; *Mary Robinson, Former President of Ireland; *Brian Arthur, former Dean of Economics at Stanford, now a leading world economist; *Lars H. Thunell, Exec. V.P. International Finance Corporation, The World Bank USA; *Royal Family members of Sweden and Holland; and *Otto Scharmer, MIT Lecturer and author, “The U Theory”… to name a few.

3) Nature as teacher – Göran and John have pioneered unique programs and exercises that awaken our sensing capacity to tune into Nature deeply. They both know the root cause of our ecological crises is a false perception of separation between ourselves and all of life.  Göran founded Naturakademin and GetWILD programs in Scandinavia along with his work to establish Way of Nature programs similar to the trainings and solos Göran innovated at the Tallberg Forum.  John and Göran are spreading the wilderness retreat process world-wide.  Special rites of passage experiences become an essential part of inspiring ecological wholeness, integral awareness and systems thinking all supported by the wisdom of wild Nature.

Bud was a student-athlete-activist during the tumultuous era at Harvard University and emerged with an interdisciplinary degree combining, child development, innovative education and urban social policy. To recover from academia, he moved to the mountains of Colorado and devoted his energy to hosting professional conferences and seminars. editor's note: (He thought moving to higher altitude would allow him to "lighten up", wouldn't take himself so seriously. He's not sure it's working. Inquire with Waylon to join the "Bud Light Campaign") As the marketing and development Director for John Denver’s Windstar Foundation, he enjoyed being on the team that created the "Choices for the Future Symposia".  He designed and implemented educational programs for Rotary International’s Preserve Planet Earth Campaign. He was Founding Executive Director for an inner city, after school service learning program for 9 - 12 year olds. Earth Walk, Nature Centered Life Learning changed kids lives for the better. He told Waylon recently that he would relax a little, when it appears that humans are fully committed to waking up and living in balance and harmony with one another and the Earth. Waylon replied: "That's when I'll stop publishing the Elephant". Bud consults with many organizations including Young Voices for the Planet, Environmental Communications, Inc. and The Living Green Network/Foundation. Waylon says: "would someone please give him a real job with a steady stipend - that will keep him off the streets?" Additionally, he is an awareness instructor and wilderness guide for Sacred Passage and the Way of Nature. As Global Director of Bio-Regional Leadership for The Way of Nature, in May 2011, he co-created and coordinated the first World Nature Quest with Nature Guide Colleagues. Thank you Beth and Elephant – I didn't even expect you to post this… what a great team you are… it doesn't hurt to have the Earth on our side! :) Who's choosing sides? I slipped into that troubling dualistic thinking trap for a moment! :)
