Jennifer W It is just bizarre to me how many things contain animal by-products. Fish guts and bulls' blood in the wine making process and now this. Well, at least there is an alternative.

#
Amber M ‎@Jennifer, not all wines contain animal products, but fish byproduct and egg whites are often present with no indication of such. :( boo to traditional companies who don't inform but hurray to organic, vegan wines (& companies who DO inform). :)

Jennifer W
Thanks, Amber. Yes, I did just learn about the wine situation recently and was horrified. I almost never drink at all but when I do I'll have a glass of wine and I'm glad to know there are vegan wines out there. I do prefer to be able to make informed decisions so I second your "hurray".
:D
#
Amber M Surprised you didn't mention these: Condomi Condoms – an assortment of vegan latex condoms from Germany.

Also insightful that Nonoxynol-9 spermicide carries similar risks to parabens (from same column that mentions Condomi--9-28-09).

#
Roger Williams Since the condom is an early stage abortion I have no problem with it being non vegan.

Tanna R: Roger--what?!
