Haunting Beauty and Terrible Sadness.
Second only to the Golden Gate Bridge in terms of suicide, Aokigahara, the “suicide forest” has seen over a hundred lives that were willfully taken in 2003, the last year they took a tally. Anyone walking through this forest may find tape guides for those unsure, the remaining items left behind, or even the body itself. The haunting landscape is matched by the sadness that is found in this forest.
Check these videos out, well worth the watch. Each are ten minutes long and well worth the time. Warning, there are shots of dead bodies, not too many but just a heads up.
