Bill Gates says that the guys from Enron would blush at some of the blatant financial gimmicks our state budgeters employ to create the illusion of a balanced budget!

And who is to pay?

The educational system.

But,

…as Mr. Gates says, “There is no brain trust.”

There is just the citizenry.

(You and me).

So, what’s the answer?

A more mindful and active citizenry.

An enlightened society that rewards politicians for honest and intelligent investments in our future,

…and divests in politicians that ignore the well-being of our nation for personal gain.
