In loving memory of Larry Schultz-Rocket Man (video)

Via on Apr 1, 2011

Yoga teacher to the Grateful Dead and founder of it’s yoga passed suddenly last month. He will be missed by yogis worldwide.  This is one of my favorite interviews ever, I was actually unable to use the full interview at the time I shot it.  No one can compare to this jewish, laid-back, pot smoking, bad boy of yoga.  In this interview, and in life, Larry kept it REAL!!!

  1. OMG (did I just type "OMG"?) I love this video!

See if you can find a volunteer to transcribe this interview and let's republish it with both the video and the transcript. (Lot's of people will read a blog but not sit through a video.)

Thanks so much for this. Let's get it out to the world.

Posting to Elephant Yoga on Facebook and Twitter.

I just was certified at It's Yoga and felt his presence everyday!

  4. Thank you so much for this Kasey,

Loved the community gardens where to debate philosophy and ethical questions with Larry and obviously the ROCKET !
to set one thing straight: a true yogi, Larry never imposed his pot habit on anyone else, but man, could he smoke.

Larry continues to live on in us, our practice, our way to handle some situations.
