The Genius In Us All.

Taking all obstacles to the path, even your genes!

Liberation becomes a real possibility the moment I accept complete and total responsibility for my situation. Then, and only then, do I cease to ignore the enlightened qualities of mind, by sitting around waiting on someone or something to enlighten me. It is at this point that I start to invest in my own potential, by doing the work required to rediscover intelligence, confidence, and dignity within myself. This is the beginning of the spiritual path. This is the liberation of our inner-genius.

Perhaps the most common justification for procrastination is to blame it on our genes. In this amazing talk David Shenk burst through this line of reasoning to remind us that participation plays a pivotal role in evolution. That evolution does not “just happen,” but that we can actively participate in our own evolution, both as an individual and as a species.

I have provided a clip, because the talk is rather long. However, I certainly hope that great many of you will be inspired, not only, to watch the entire lecture—which is brilliant and entertaining—but also to share it with your friends.
