Love—whomever it’s with—is love, and always oughta be supported.
I’ve known parents who taught their children to be lawyers and selfish, lying cowards (I say this without accusation, but rather sadness—lying and fearing one’s way through this world is no way to enjoy this short, precious life)…I’ve known dads who weren’t there for whatever reason and moms who sacrificed everything to give me everything.
And you’ve known a host of characters, too. You, too.
We all have.
But one thing remains constant: love is love, whatever color or flavor it comes in—and those who would fight genuine reciprocal love oughta check themselves in the mirror.
