Cash for your Iphone? MacAir? With the launch of OS X Lion and the refresh of Apple’s ultra light laptops we may be looking to purchase a new toy. But we may be consumed by worry, as our stack of outmoded technology fills our closet. Along comes Gazelle. If we choose to upgrade frequently we should consider where to recycle or redeploy our hardware and be mindful of our wallet and the environment.445 views

I push, push, push past the fatigue and all the signs telling me to give up, and I ignore my family and my health, and I get things done. This approach usually works for me, at least in reaching whatever impossible goal I’ve set out for myself.375 views

Because of my culinary daydreaming I missed the rest of the stuff on breathing. I thought she would do a quick review at the end of class and I would catch it on the back end, but she moved on. I think she saw us all breathing fine and figured we were pretty much set.571 views

The learning of and value placed in intellectual information is detrimental to human beings when enacted too early. This type of learning stimulates brain activity in ways that should come later and necessarily therefore does not allow for the type of brain development that should be happening when we are young.323 views

The act of prayer can take many shapes and forms. Its beauty lives in its commonality – to unify. All beings irrespective of belief or non-belief have some conceptual impression of prayer and its absence or presence in their lives.225 views

Jane Goodall Harvest for Hope outlined her analysis of animal behaviour and mammal’s preference for organic food, over conventional food laden with pesticides. Dr Jane's analysis and advice strongly support an organic vegetarian diet. Her words were revolutionary in 2005 when other authors, even today, fall short of outlining omnivores ethical and health issues.316 views

Yoga is useless without such a mindfulness. In fact, technically, you can't call it yoga. It just falls under some other category. Sutra 28 in the first pada highlights this too. In a general sense, whether repetition of mantra or any other practice, asana, etc. that you are doing you must feel it, be part of it, connected.435 views
