For the past 2 months I have been purposefully ignoring 10 years of training in yoga, meditation, ayurveda and psychology. The results have been trying to say the least. I gained 15 pounds and feel like crap! But, I still lived a relatively culturally “normal” life. I just didn’t follow natural wisdom. This experiment is “Super-size Me” -like in one respect (intentional self-neglect in order to demonstrate an important point about health), but it is entirely different in another (it is NOT extreme and highlights the problems generated by a lot of things most people take for granted as the status-quo of how they live).
This video marks the 3rd blog of my “recovery” from this 2 months. It’s contents are that of my first work out, a good look at my flabby belly, the dark circles under my eyes, my easy fatigue and cramped muscles, and a few inspiring words and images about the importance of cultivating health.
