Took at look at the actual video, and guess what, on related videos listed below there was one of Ron Paul being asked to rebut Elizabeth Warren's statement.

Governement cannot create wealth, it can only transfer it. And it usually transfers it to a different place than the free market would have, to the detriment of us all. Elizabeth Warren sings praises to Carworld here. Carworld was created by the government transferring funds from the absolutely incredible "interurban" system (what we now call light rail") that America had a century ago to finance "free" infrastructure for the autoimobile. Govt is also doing a horrendous job with education. And, as Paul point out, government, by trying to make housing accessible to all, raised the prices far beyond the capacity of the poor to pay and creating a gigantic bubble.. When it burst, government (ie, Republicans AND Democrats, Bush AND Obama) stepped in to save the rich financiers while the middle class and some poor simply lost their homes.

    E. Warren makes a powerful statement here but, economically and historically, it's full of holes. Powerful doesn't mean correct.
