Ever wish you had a map for life's big decisions? The key to this co-creative universe is the simple logic of + < 3, symbolizing more heart. Heart is the secret ingredient for an amazing life, especially when things feel mind-bottled and stressful. This simple formula helps make decisions in the moment and practicing allows you to be present for whatever arises. It helps with uncertainty, finding clarity, acting with grace and feeling life's bliss. And the best part is, the more you add, the more exponentially awesome life gets.334 views

Suddenly, for a glorious moment, I was up! And then, my mind caught up with my body, and immediately started thinking. “I can’t believe it! I’m up! I did … ” Before I could finish the thought, I was down. In a big, crashing way. Flat on my back.57 views

Being mindful doesn’t have to be Buddhist. It doesn’t have to be New Age. It doesn’t have to be hip yogic philosophy. Being mindful can be as simple as slowly starting to eliminate factors from your life that negatively impact your alertness.446 views

Everywhere I look theses days I see images of people who are angry, frustrated, or just plain confused by a global economy that has failed due to greed and fear. Then I think about the ZIA PROJECT and I feel incredibly grateful to be in a position to be facilitating the growth of a sustainable trade that is based entirely on compassion, love, joy and equanimity.344 views

Humans are sentient beings. Raising and killing humans for meat and dairy always cause pain. Humans do not have a biological need to eat human meat and dairy. So, if you choose to eat human meat and dairy, you are choosing to cause pain and to participate in exploitation and murder. Participating in pain and murder is always unethical. The ethical choice is to abstain from eating humans and their secretions.214 views

“Holding on to old books doesn’t allow you to create space for new ideas and ways of thinking….you can become set in your ways and develop musty energy like the musty old books you surround yourself with.” Karen Kingston (Creating Sacred Space) Feng Shui says; It is okay to have a few books in your bedroom but not too many and not in a messy pile. Clear out your room. Make it a quiet place with just two or three books on hand.392 views

We all know that the world has a lot of problems, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned through my own soul-searching and research, it’s that within a problem itself, there usually lies a solution. With all of the problems, potential solutions, and related ideas circulating around the world, it can be overwhelming trying to be aware of them all, much less find the relationships between them. I believe, with a little inspired dialogue, it can be done. This is one of the ideas behind the Bioneers Conference, an annual gathering of inspired researchers, activists, scientists and general good-idea spreaders.147 views

Steve Jobs lost his maternal source of sweetness and nurturance at a critical age. He then worked with blazing determination to recover this intuitive support, not only for himself, but for others. Between his loss and his relentless overcompensation for this loss, he burned up in sacrifice his physiology of sweetness: plasma, fat tissue, and the pancreas. He both created and possessed as a mother does.1,213 views

Along those lines, there are two new slogans-of-the-week that are gaining momentum: “Meatless Monday” and “Wheatless Wednesday.” According to FoodNavigator-USA.com, awareness of the ‘Meatless Monday’ campaign has recently reached more than half of Americans (50.22 percent of 2,000 American adults contacted in a nationally representative sample were aware of the campaign—up from 30 percent awareness six months ago). “Wheatless Wednesday” started at The Sink, an eatery in Boulder, Colorado, as a way to offer gluten-free dishes one day a week. Today, gluten-free menus are available every day of the week in many national chains and local eateries.252 views

Should Ryan Gosling show up on my doorstep wanting to snuggle and read to me, I would treat him as an equal. I would not "accidentally" drop things on the floor so I could leer at him as he picks them up. I would not make him clean my house shirtless as I sat reading, glass of wine in hand and making lewd comments as he worked tirelessly. Really, I wouldn't! Because, after all, I am a feminist. I believe that we should all be treated with respect. Even Ryan Gosling.2,462 views
