Someone I know very well told me a story about being in a meeting with Steve Jobs 7 years ago.
Jobs was describing the success of Apple’s infamous ad campaign. He said you only have 3-5 seconds to get peoples’ attention.
Steve Jobs did it even quicker. How long does it take to say “Think Different”?
So here’s a challenge:
Can you summarize your your mission, your intention… in 3-5 seconds?
Whether it’s “Live in the Moment!” or “Spread the Love,” we all need a rallying cry. Because without one, our lives are spent enslaved to Job’s inventions, bumbling from one email to the next.
