Why Waylon Lewis Was Thoroughly Wet.

Well fellow elephants we did it!

Waylon Lewis, founder of this very site himself, was irrevocably dunked (some say in organic, international,  fair-trade coffee) time and time again by some of the members of our community. Brought in for questioning by the tag team of  Where Is My Guru, Jessica Durivage and Diane Ferraro, grilled by Tanya Lee Markul Yoga Editor, Tobye Hiller, Kate Bartolotta, and even I got to throw some questions his way, Mr. Lewis was the star guest on the Where Is My Guru show this past Friday October 28, 2011. While he may have been correct more often than not, there is no getting around the fact that had he been sitting over a real dunk tank, he would have been soaked to the bone.

Always a good sport though, Waylon rode the waves like a pro and ended up on top. The show was nothing short of extreme fun and there were some great laughs all the way around.

Tanya Lee Markul: Can you tell me right now, at this very moment, what is the name of the most popular blog on Elephant Yoga?

Waylon Lewis: If you were to give me 20 seconds….the most popular article on Elephant Yoga, which is our most together section. I would have to say the Fight Club article.

TM: Close. It’s actually incorrect. The correct answer is 32 Suggestions on How to Get Started With Ashtanga Yoga by Claudia Altucher-you’re in trouble Waylon!

TM: Waylon, can you tell me right now, what is the body part being discussed on the Elephant Yoga homepage?

WL: I have no idea, the heart? This is tough. I’m actually even cheating right now and I can’t even find it. Every time I get dunked it’s good karma for everyone else, so it’s a good cause.

TM: The answer is the Psoas.

Jennifer Cusano, social media aficionado, research connoisseur, and writer du jour, is a new born Yogi on a path of personal exploration and long overdue healing. Much like the Lotus Flower, she is struggling to rise through some extremely muddy waters, into something pure, and beautiful, inside and out. Loving her role here at elephant, editing has come to her quite organically. Taking the editorial and social media skills acquired here at elephant, she has moved on into the role as Managing Editor for YOGANONYMOUS. She also wears the Director of Social Media hat for Where Is My Guru and is in her element for sure producing their LIVE radio shows. She reads neurotically, disappears from friends and family frequently, spends entirely too much time on her computer, writes (someday she will conquer the world of YA dystopian fiction, eh?), and is wholeheartedly trying to meditate, practice her asanas, and stick to some structure. A free spirit, she is never happy caged. You can find her on Facebook here, and here,Twitter,Google+,and LinkedIn. She loves making new friends, so hit her up! Also she is more than a little uncomfortable writing about herself in the third person...
