We are just Days away from the Global Launch of The Poetry of Yoga.

Volume 1 of this Anthology Set comes out on 11.11.11 (November 11, 2011) and contains the writing of over 120 yogi(ni) poets from 16 countries. Release events are taking place all over.  You can view directly on our website here http://bit.ly/sLAUQP.  If you want to organize a reading or release event at your local studio email: poetryofyoga@gmail.com and we can help you coordinate with promotional materials and books!  The event DOES NOT have to be on 11.11.11 (so you’ve still got time to organize:)  For more information you can also visit:  www.ThePoetryOfYoga.com

Within our lifetime, we will never again experience another day like this one. It is the only day left in this millennium when there is only one number, the mirror of One within eleven providing a moment of attunement to the underlying pulse of unity.

Join us for a Friday evening dedicated to The Poetry of Yoga book launch open to all Kripalu guests, staff, and volunteers. From 7:30–11:11 pm, we will move, breathe, and chant as One with yoga trance dance led by Shiva Rea with the KDZ: The Kripalu Drummers and local legend John de Kadt. We will flow into internal contemplation of the One through mystic poetry of the world’s spiritual traditions and our own individual and collective poem, leading into 108 rounds of mantra japa.  Individual and collective poetic contemplations with Shiva, John, HawaH and other The Poetry of Yoga authors as they read poems from the newly released book.

  1. Hi, HawaH. I'm honored to be included in The Poetry of Yoga, and my wife Jane and I are looking forward to joining you at the grand release celebration at Kripalu on 11-11-11. We get to combine it with a grandbaby visit (my daughter lives just an hour away near Albany.)
