Taking Yoga Off The Mat.

Via on Nov 9, 2011

I am traveling around the country doing a project called 25 Days. I have been posting on elephant journal for several months about some of the experiences I have had while traveling.  I am at the end of my fundraiser for this project. In order to keep it going I am raising money. The project is about creating compassion and community.

I go with people to the place that they love in their city and they tell me why they love it. I have gathered some amazing and inspiring stories. You can find them at 25daysus.blogspot.com.  The stories are a record of shared experiences and insights into other people’s lives. The focus of the project is to break down barriers between people and illustrate that differences are not to be feared, but explored.

Over and over again, I have met people who are vastly different than I am in political affiliation, social status, religion, or class background, and have found, each time, that there is plenty of room for both of us in the world. I am doing this because I believe in the greatness in all people. The more people I meet, the more proof I have that this greatness exists.

You can check out my fundraiser here: FUNDRAISER If you feel it is valuable, support it with a donation or pass it on to others who might be interested.
