Rich Boys, No Rules: More Precious Lives Taken.

Eric and Donald Trump Jr., you’re fired.

I will never understand hunting for fun. I cannot sit here and pretend to agree with the reasoning I have heard.

I feel like “Big Game” hunting is the worst of its kind. Wealthy people pay upward of $100,000 to shoot big game in Africa—with challenge at a minimum—and I’m sure almost none of that money is given to the poorer people of the region.

The most prized hunts are the so-called “Big Five”: the leopard, lion, rhino, elephant and buffalo. Never mind that four of the five animals being hunted are endangered. Thing one and thing two up there are seen with a dead elephant, crocodile, kudu, leopard and a waterbuck.

Donald Jr. defended himself through his twitter account saying:

I hunt and eat game. I am a hunter, I don’t hide from that.”

He also denies that the kills are wasteful:

“I can assure you it was not wasteful the villagers were so happy for the meat which they don’t often get to eat. Very grateful.”

It scares me to hear how openly and freely people admit their enjoyment in killing other beings. It makes my skin crawl.

Even The Donald has publicly admitted that he does not like hunting, nor does he like the fact that his sons enjoy it.

People with as much wealth and power as these two possess should find better things to do with their time. Just another example of how money corrupts?

Hit her up on Facebook or Twitter to discuss the various methods of tracking down said vampires. Also she is more than a little uncomfortable writing about herself in the third person, it may just be the hardest thing she's had to do, and that's saying something...

Money doesn't corrupt…money just exaggerates what you already are. If you're a generous, loving, kind person, it will give you more opportunity to express your good nature. If you're a greedy, selfish, cruel person, however…well…you get the picture.

  2. I wouldn't call this an example of how money corrupts.
Sadly, there are lots of poor people who'd be more than happy to do exactly what Trump Jr.'s doing.
Money just allows those who are corrupt to be wasteful and destructive to far greater degrees.

Amen. I think that was Jenn's basic message. Money is great, can be used for great things, or bad, can be used for bad things. Just a tool.

      Speaking of tools…

  3. I am happy to hear the Donald is against hunting..I wish his son learned that lesson from his father – awful..sad, sigh..

  4. Dylan says:

He should have his ass cheek cut off. To harm an elephant should be a global crime punishable by the same force used against the animal. Bad… baaad juju

What goes around, comes around. They should be ashamed and embarrassed by their behavior. So disgusting!!!!!!!!

This is a tragic worldview that justifies this type of behavior toward the animal kingdom and nature? I have noticed that for certain types, having a lot of money in their wallet can foster a sense of false, immoral power toward other beings.

this is something to complain about. These are animals that are indeed threatened, not like the silly polar bear post.

Got my first letter yesterday! Loved it. I feel like I am a part of something great that is just starting to happen. Feeling a strange sense of community around it all. Maybe you’re on to something here! Who would have ever thought that people would actually print out words on paper just to have it sent through the mail to another person’s mailbox. Next thing you know, peoe will be growing their own food and walking or riding bikes everywhere. It’ll never work, damn progress.

  13. [...] Finally, unsustainable trophy hunting practices are a significant threat to lions and yet the hunting industry seems unwilling to get its house in order to ensure the “sport” stops having a negative impact on lions. Whether the practice is able to have a positive impact on lion conservation is a hotly contested debate. [...]

Very disturbing to see him flaunt such a dreadful, horrible crime as killing animals. I posted it on FB saying I would like to remove something of his and pose with it in my hand. I wish I could do more…..

Just utterly useless and disgusting. The villagers got a lot of meat off that tail ???????????? If they wanted to help them there are so many other ways to do it–write a check! Build a hut~~~~etc.
