That’s it—That’s all I can remember him saying. It’s hard for me to put big ole’ smiles in my work. And I even asked Ms. Budig to please stop looking at me and smiling. She stopped looking at me but the teeth only got bigger and brighter. And then I remembered that I heard Thich Nhat Hanh say —

 “smiling is mouth yoga.”

Very rarely has someone even tried to smile and show teeth in my work. Over time, these have become some of my favorites because the smile really is contagious. So, I do declare, I’m gonna welcome your teeth.  Why not?
