Three Steps to Making Every Day an Adventure.
“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.” ~ Marcel Proust
Step 1: Be irresponsible.
Step 2: Don’t be afraid of anything.
Step 3: Make it count.
Via Laughing Squid:
Filmmaker Casey Neistat was hired to film a commercial for the Nike+ Fuelband #Makeitcount campaign. Instead of making a straight commercial, he took the money, went on a 10-day around the world adventure with his friend & editorMax Joseph and created the fun film short titled Make it Count.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ~Mark Twain
If you can’t throw away responsibility or quit your job, learn to be. And appreciate everyday. Don’t believe in reincarnation or heaven, believe in the present moment and live every day how you want to. Read a novel, sit in the sun, sweat, stare into the eyes of someone you love and really look, get butterflies, do things you love. Life is simple.

This is awesome, thank you Lindsey!
[...] 5. Live a passionate life. When we focus on what brings us joy, there’s a lot less room for drama and angst, especially the self-created kind. On the flip side, if we get wrapped up in these projections and in contemplating others, we leave ourselves little time to do what we love. Skip the fairy tale and live an adventure in real life. I would like to think that everyday is an adventure, but the monotonous nature of work kills my spirit. I think it is time for a nice change of scenery…
