Ever wonder how the thoughts you think affect you?
Ever wonder if those never ending sound vibrations running through your mind are serving you, or merely distracting you?
No? Well, here’s some food for thought.
Ever wonder why the practice of yoga is about controlling what you hear, what you think and what you say?
The answer is because it matters. So, ask yourself . . . What are you vibrating today?

I live in Denver, CO where I maintain an active Ashtanga practice, in addition to a bodywork practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Yoga forms the cornerstone of my life in all aspects. It's how I eat, how I drink, how I sleep and how I chose all my choices. In addition to my Ashtanga practice, I am devoted to following the principles and precepts of bhakti-yoga as delivered through the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition. Here at elephant, I write and edit in addition to serving as the ele-ambassador for both the Ashtanga and Bhakti communities.

I dont see the direct correlation. My brain needs more salt?
I love this! What a crazy cool video. Makes me think about Dr. Emoto's work with vibrational intention on water crystals. Powerful stuff.
I thought the same thing!

This is a fantastic video! I was just as impressed watching it this time as I was when i first discovered it. It certainly creates a lovely visual of how form emerges from sound vibration, as outlined in ancient sanskrit texts long before theories of quantum physics elaborated on this subject. And I never cease to be amazed by the beauty in symmetry that nature weaves into our lives!
One might make the conjuncture that in consciously creating harmonious dealings with one another, (in thoughts, words and actions), we beautify the planet through those synchronized exchanges, like the perfect symmetry in pure sound vibration shown here. So yes, let's be more attentive to what we are vibrating and make those vibration beautiful ones of love and peace.
I couldn't have said it better myself. Thanks for reading and adding to the discussion.
One must deliver himself with the help of his mind, and not degrade himself. The mind is the friend of the conditioned soul, and his enemy as well.

Pretty fascinating Thad!
Exactly! Thanks for "reading."
