Face Your Fears.

Fear is an immensely powerful emotion.

It is nothing to be ashamed of. It’s kept people alive for millions of years.

It’s stopped you from walking across the street and getting hit by a car.

However, at some point, life will rob you. You don’t have a choice.

When it robs you, it’s going to hurt badly. This may come in the form of losing a job, getting a divorce, or losing a loved one. What’s leftover is fear.

You have to become friends with that feeling because if you want to do anything in your life worth doing, you will encounter this gut wrenching fear. It’s a very painful experience.

The loss  of control is what makes us vulnerable.

The goal is to know how to come to terms with the fact that you might lose control of your emotions. It’s a painful feeling. In life, we want to control things. We want to win; we’ve been taught to win. Fear doesn’t work this way; it will turn the bravest and boldest person into nothing.

No one can teach you this.

You must experience it on your own.

You may read this in a book. But if you don’t experience it on your own, you will not have the slightest way of coming to terms with it.

Historically, it is something that has made a human being great. It has made us resilient behind belief. But it is very painful and something we like to avoid.

So work on it every day, know that small fearful event is something that will spread into every area of your life…if you don’t overcome it.
