From Start Where You Are: A Guide to Compassionate Living.
Our book club discussion of Start Where You Are will begin next week.
You don’t have to be a Buddhist, or even want to be a Buddhist, to benefit from this wonderful book on mindful living. In Start Where You Are, Pema Chodron discusses 59 traditional Tibetan Lojong or slogans on living in a way that is compassionate towards ourselves, others and the world. We can’t ever get to somewhere else and then start to live our lives. We can only ever start in the here and now.
