He’s a big fan of marriage. And children. Lots of children.
I have my doubts about the institution of marriage.
But…I do love this notion of solidity, and goodness, as this article in the NY Times discusses—of both doing good in the external world, and having a good, stable, happy, plentiful inner world.
“There are two tests in life, more important than any other test,” he said, his voice growing soft as the sun set behind him.
“On Monday morning, when you wake up, do you feel in the pit of your stomach you can’t wait to go to work?
And when you’re ready to go home Friday afternoon, do you say, ‘I can’t wait to go home’? ”
