A Fix for Cold & Dreary Winter Days.

Source: i.imgur.com via Vicki on Pinterest

Growing up in New England between Massachusetts and northern Vermont, I’m no stranger to dreary, cold winter days.

I’m talking really miserable weather; (-30) for multiple days in a row, 208 days of overcast/rain/snow. I got through the winters by watching videos and listening to music representative of places I’d rather be.

Here’s a taste of anti-depressant mix for winter:

Israel “IZ” Kamakowiwo’ole ~ Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World. Beautiful song set to images of Hawaii.

Jason Mraz ~ I’m Yours. I can watch this video of enjoying life in Hawaii all day.

Bob Marley ~ Rastaman Vibrations. Any time you can see Bob Marley’s amazing energy live, you feel better.

Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros ~ Home. You can’t help feeling amazing after listen/watching this.

311 ~  Amber. Beach & California Sunsets, need I say more?

Noah & The Whale ~ The First Days of Spring. Epic video to a beautiful song.

Bob Marley ~  Coming in from the Cold. Not a true music video, but this song got me through weeks of sub-zero weather in Burlington, Vermont.

I need to grow my list, what videos/songs get you out of a winter funk?
