When I was 14, my mum left my dad for another woman.

Once I saw beyond the smallness of my teenage world, I realized that there is nothing more beautiful than two people who love each other being together. Full stop. I am thankful every day that my two mums can grow old with someone there for the good times and the bad, in sickness and in health, for richer and poorer.

They’re still together, still in love and they don’t particularly care about the marriage thing but I, for one, would like to countenance the possibility of one day attending their wedding.

I’ve been checking out kashmir shaivism (a non-dual philosophy into Universal Consciousness) lately and seriously, if you’re into tantra (and who isn’t?), then you’re into same sex marriage. It’s all one, right? And the implications are all good:
