The fact that so many people still don’t believe that global warming is happening may be more surprising than global warming itself.

Maybe we shouldn’t be surprised by global warming based on the lifestyle choices we make (at least in the Western World). Then again, shouldn’t we know better by now?
An AP-GfK poll released today actually showed that “believers” have increased. In 2009, 75 percent of polled Americans thought global warming was occurring and 73 per cent thought it was a serious problem. Now, 78 percent of those surveyed said they thought temperatures were increasing and 80 percent called it a serious problem.
The poll also showed that concern over rising temperatures is growing faster among people who don’t usually trust scientists:
