Join our mindful community!
We’re looking for responsible elephant readers/writers who are self-starters, eager learners, good communicators, respect the written word and are inspired not only by elephant’s mission of bringing together all those working (and playing) to create enlightened society but the idea of working with a community of like-minded folks from all over the world, as well as elephant’s core team.
We ask for a six month commitment. At the end, you receive a certificate. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn to blog like a pro and gain insight into the world of social media.
>> One original weekly blog post.
>> Managing one or more elephant journal Facebook pages. (We’ll train you to be a voice for elephant.)
>> Community involvement: provide feedback for peers on their writing and participate in group edits every Monday at 10:30 MST on Skype for one hour.
If you are still interested in being a part of our community in this way, we’d love to hear more about your experience and if the required commitment works for you. Please send your resume and a brief cover letter explaining why you’d be a good fit to editorial [at] elephantjournal [dot] com. We take commitment seriously, will invest a lot of time in working with you, and do not want to work with anyone who’s unsure of his/her ability to fulfill the full apprenticeship.
If you don’t hear back from us within a few days, the position has been filled.
