Beautiful indeed! Unfortunately, the Conservative government values "economics" over environmental protection. For example, PM Harper loves Alberta and the oil sands, pipelines, and all the environmental destruction that goes with it–even though the oil sands, as Al Gore has said, is a dirtier source of fuel than coal! Yet for the dirty dollar Alberta's boreal forests are biting the dust. Along with clicking on Tree Hugger to save pristine Wolf Lake in Ontario, I hope Canadians will vote anything but Conservative in the next election.
