Most people are afraid of the unknown and of losing control.
It is a hard fact of life, of being human, that there are certain things that are beyond our control. You don’t know when you will die, you don’t know what will happen to our loved ones, you might lose a precious pet or a loved one when least expected.
Loss and loss of control can throw you out of balance, can make you feel helpless, frightened, angry or powerless.
For your own sanity, you must learn to let go of things you cannot control. Certain things are in your control and it is empowering to take charge and pave your own path. Other things, you have to learn to accept. No matter how painful or difficult, things happen for a reason. Some of those reasons you might never understand, but holding on to something only makes it worse.
Try to practice letting go. Trust your life and tap into a deeper realization that no matter what life throws at you, you can handle it.
If you find it difficult to let go or stop controlling, there is a wonderful blend called Balance, by doTERRA you can apply to your feet and belly to help you navigate the waters of uncertainty. I apply it every day to the soles of my feet when I get out of the shower and then again before I go to bed. It makes me feel grounded and secure. Thus, the name of the blend.
I know you have days you cannot control as well. I’d love to hear what your methods to get over your madness are. Please leave a comment in the box below.
