BCALF to launch ART in the PARK
Starting this summer, Boulder County Arts Leadership Forum (BCALF) is creating a series of free monthly art events in Central Park to highlight the immense local talent and activate Boulder’s
parks.

As the City of Boulder continues to define a plan for a Civic Center, BCALF looks forward to
activating the park and bandshell with visual arts, dance, and theater throughout the summer.
BCALF goals include: • activating Boulder’s Civic Area and Central Park with innovative arts programming • encouraging the entire community, to participate in cultural events, including underserved audiences who may not frequent arts venues on a regular basis • inspiring the audience to take action locally to support the arts • leveraging creative capital by driving economic revenue to local businesses, galleries, and restaurants • generating excitement and cultural vibrancy in Downtown Boulder with unique events that support Boulder’s reputation as an innovative and creative community As a new organization, formed in 2012, BCALF’s motivated leaders believe that together, we can create a culturally accessible and vibrant Downtown Boulder.
