Little Known Fact: Dinosaurs Like to Party. {Must-see Photos}

As a parent to a six year old and three year old, I have become increasingly concerned with my ability to help cultivate my kids’ sense of wonder and imagination.

I grow worried with fear that playing pretend and magical thinking is somehow getting lost in this electronic age.

I, myself, am guilty of running out of ideas to foster the invocation of magic into our daily lives.

I get in my own way, forgetting that creativity is meant to be simple, fun and not overthought—reminding myself that in the rat race of it all my husband and I can create fun and illusion for our kids while laughing ourselves—connecting and bringing us closer together through a shared activity.

Below is a perfect example of creating fun and wonder in the home without pixels or internet or television. It brought a smile to my face and has most certainly gotten the creative cogs grinding once again—an alternative for the mundane.

Heck, maybe I will even try this one at home.
