“Some background:

This picture was taken (not by me) at Lewa Rhino Conservancy in Kenya. The three rhinos pictured; Hope, Kilifi and Nicky were either orphans, or in Nicky’s case blind. As a result, they have been raised by select conservancy rangers, who stay with the rhinos all the time, including at night in an enclosed pen.

I was fortunate enough to work there for three months during a year-off and to meet all three.”
