Invisible Yogi in the Studio. ~ Michael Mark {Poem}

 buddha statue yogi

I could feel you

helping me today.

As I was toppling from

my crooked inversions,

you pushed me straight.

When my Frog pose squiggled

into a tadpole,

you held me together

with your gentle, firm intention.

My Drishti was a haze.

My Ying lost its Yang.

Chaos.

But with a Bodhisattva’s

10,000 hands whirring,

you cooled me.

With a Buddha’s

sacred mantras,

you calmed my mind.

Never to know your name

or face, I bow.

May my sun salutation bring you

warmth and good health.
