The Tide Always Turns. ~ Madhuvantthe {Poem}

wake lay think

She walks hunched

bearing the weight upon her shoulders,
Her eyes are bright with tears unshed, yet hope lurks within
Visions of others’ good lives pass her by, she lies in bed awake and tired
Yet her heart remains light, with a giving spirit that refuses to die
In the early light of the morning, she will smile
Yesterday’s heaviness is just another sigh.
