Avoid the Road at all Cost. {Poem}

fork in the road
Avoid the road that leads to the past.

Road so long
Road so black
That road leads to a circus act.

An elephant stomps in the room
It’s storms, all day, a bitter mood
When visited, peace disrupts
What happened to my splendid journey
Avoid the road at all cost
Your wisdom and patience will soon
Be lost. A frost bitten heart.

Avoid the road at all cost.

Remember now that brighter day
Where burdens of self, no longer in way
That flood of tears just washed away
The havoc the road brought that day
I’ve found her beauty masked away
God’s cry all will be alright. (Deity)

Holier than thou, waits beyond the crossing
Avoid the road along the way.
The gods plot every lasting peace.
